60 days after starting Η2Ο2 @ 25 drops a day

I started supplementing my daily diet on September 1st 2013 with :

  • 25 drops of Hydrogen Peroxide 
  • 2 teaspoons of Sodium Bicarbonate

so i guess that i am now running past my 60th day of treatment.

Even though it includes a bit of repetition, i will re-post here my situation before, and my situation after 30 days, and add to it my situation today (60 days).

MY SITUATION BEFORE:
  1. FATIGUE: I suffered from chronic fatigue. Some times I was barely moving my feet in the mornings. On a good day I would not feel as tired, but even in a good day if I tried to lift my knee I felt I had to help it by using my hands to grab my trousers and pull it up! 
  2. Blood Pressure: My BP was 11 - 16 if I did not take my Accupron pills regularly. By taking my pills, the pressure was contained, but if I missed them for more than 48 hours.... BP would go through the roof.
  3. Sleep Apnea and respiratory problems: I sleep with a CPAP machine the last 5 years. I used to NOT BE ABLE to blow air through my nose at any increased rate, since the nose would instantly block (like if I had a valve that shut whenever I tried to blow faster than usual)
  4. Headaches: 20 days out of month, i reverted to DEPON pills (paracetamol) to alleviate my headaches
  5. Minor Problems & other ailments: 
    1. I had fungus under 4 of my hand nails. 
    2. My sweat used to have a heavy odor. 
    3. I had a small motor bike accident 1 months ago my foot ankle was bruised and one finger was swollen. (after 90 whole days....). 
    4. I had a fall 3 months ago and my knee was strained, and hurt when i moved it.
  6. Enormous appetite for eating: I was always hungry....always.... and ate BIG everytime i came close to any food
MY SITUATION AFTER 30 DAYS OF H2O2 THERAPY:
  1. FATIGUE: GONE!!!!!! Even the first day I started, it just felt as if it was one of the very good days! 4-5 days down the road..... never felt better since I was 20 years old and 50 kilos less.... 
  2. Blood Pressure: After 4-5 days I quit the Accupron. I have 9-13 BP the last 40 days (I check almost daily).
  3. Sleep Apnea and respiratory problems: Still use the machine to sleep, BUT it seems my sinuses have opened, since I am now able to blow my nose FULL strength without it shutting. My nose feels open and healthy.
  4. Headaches: Have only had to revert to paracetamol 2 times the last 30 days.
  5. Minor Problems & other ailments: 
    1. All nails but one are now fungus free. The one that persists seems to get better, but still not there yet.
    2. The bruised ankle (that I had for more than 1 month) got well in less than 24 hours
    3. The knee got well in 2 weeks (it hurt for more than 3 months)
    4. My sweat takes more than 3 days to smell (i used some 3% peroxide on my arm pits), and I have quit using deodorant!!!
  6. Enormous appetite for eating: appetite has calmed down. Without trying to eat less, I am in fact eating less. I have lost 1.5Kg the last 30 days.
  7. BONUS: my palms are rose colored from blood circulation (instead of pale/white/yellow)

MY SITUATION AFTER 60 DAYS OF H2O2 THERAPY:
  1. FATIGUE: I no longer suffer from chronic fatigue. My situation has not got worse, neither has it gone better than how it was on the 30th day of therapy with H2O2, but still compared to before I am great. 
  2. Blood Pressure: Still my Blood Pressure is on normal levels without having to use Accupron. The treatment was worth it for this one alone!
  3. Sleep Apnea and respiratory problems: Still use the machine to sleep, my sinuses have opened, and I am now able to blow my nose FULL strength without it shutting. My nose feels open and healthy.
  4. Headaches: Have only had to revert to paracetamol 3 times the last 60 days.(plus another 3 times during a virus infection to control fever)
  5. Minor Problems & other ailments: 
    1. All nails but one are now fungus free. The one that persists does not seem to get better.
    2. Still body (sweat) smell is hugely reduced.
  6. Enormous appetite for eating: appetite has unfortunately returned so I guess that H202 has nothing to do with my initial drop in appetite. 
  7. Skin Color: my palms are rose colored from blood circulation (instead of pale/white/yellow)

So, I will continue into my therapy, and keep everybody posted about the results.

H2O2: a suggested schedule for your hydrogen peroxide therapy!


Madison Cavanaugh in her book the "The One-Minute Cure: The Secret to Healing Virtually All Diseases" outlines the possible uses of H2O2, the history of its use by doctors and explains the mechanisms by which H2O2 effectively helps human immune system fight a number of diseases that plague people. (she even includes alcoholism as one of them!)

I really suggest that anyone interested in H2O2 should buy this book and read it before engaging in treatment, since it has a wealth of information that is not only helpful, but also necessary.

Mrs Cavanaugh suggests the following protocol for therapy:


Note: 6-8 ounces of water equals about 180-250ml (one full glass) of water.

She goes on to say:
"The table on the previous page provides a suggested schedule for your hydrogen peroxide therapy  Each dose takes less than 1 minute to administer. Use only distilled water to dilute hydrogen peroxide; do not use water that has been chlorinated. The drops should be diluted in 6 to 8 ounces of water.
When you have completed the 23-day regimen in the table, gradually decrease the dosage by one drop a day until you get to the maintenance dose of 3 drops (diluted in 6-8 ozs of distilled water) 3 times a day. This suggested protocol is based on years of experience and success stories from thousands of users.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide is very inexpensive (approximately $13 for a 16 oz. bottle). Therefore, the main- tenance dose of 3 drops in water 3 times a day will cost only 11⁄2 cents per day, and the maximum dose of 25 drops in water 3 times a day will cost only 12 cents per day.
If you have a serious condition, you may wish to try taking 25 drops three times daily for one to three weeks during the beginning portion of the maintenance phase before tapering down to 25 drops two times per day for up to six months. Otherwise, you can reduce the maintenance schedule to between 5 and 15 drops based on how you are feeling."

SUMMARY CONCLUSIONS OF THE SIAR
Human Health 
Hydrogen peroxide is an endogenous metabolite in the aerobic cell.
The likely adverse effects by exogenous hydrogen peroxide concern local toxicity, although absorption at very high rates may also cause oxygen embolism with potentially serious consequences.

Based on human case reports, the hazard of embolism may arise at fairly low doses (15-150 mg/kg bw) when hydrogen peroxide is introduced into body cavities such as in surgery or after oral intake.


Note: - 15 mg of pure H2O2= about 900 drops of 35% H2O2 per kilo of bodyweight - for a 60 kilo human, the lowest end of dangerous dose should be about 54000 drops of 35% H2O2- in consequence doses of up to 75 drops of 35% H2O2 / day is well below 1/100 of the lowest end of dangerous dosage


Concerning single exposures, notable effect end points are acute toxicity (by the oral route: LOAEL approximately 100 mg/kg bw) and, for hydrogen peroxide vapours, irritant effects in the eyes and airways (LOAEL 3.5-10 mg/m3), irritant effects on the skin (LOAEL 20 mg/m3), for hydrogen peroxide water solutions, eye irritation (mild irritation at the concentration of 6 %, moderate irritation at 8%, severe irritation and corrosion at ≥ 10 %) and skin irritation/corrosivity (slight irritation at 10 %, moderate irritation at 35 %, corrosion at ≥ 50 %). The potential of hydrogen peroxide to cause skin sensitization was judged to be extremely low. 
Concerning repeated exposures, oral administration (drinking water) in mice gave NOAELs of 26 mg/kg bw/day in males and 37 mg/kg bw/day in females based on a dose-related reduction of food and water consumption and local effect (duodenal mucosal hyperplasia). There is suggestive evidence from animal studies causing some concern that levels of about 10 mg/m3 may be associated with local changes in the lungs, reminiscent of oxygen toxicity, as well as local effects in the skin.
Hydrogen peroxide is a mutagen and genotoxicant in a variety of in vitro test systems, but negative results from DNA repair and micronucleus studies, and from a study of in vivo genotoxicity and mutagenicity in the mouse skin after repeated applications, are not in support of a significant genotoxicity/mutagenicity in vivo.
A local carcinogenic effect was observed in the duodenum of a catalase-deficient mouse strain administered 0.4 % H2O2 in drinking water. Although an underlying genotoxic mechanism cannot be excluded, the weight of evidence at this time does not suggest that the carcinogenic properties of hydrogen peroxide should be regarded as practically significant.
Regarding reproductive toxicity, a 90-day drinking water study with mice did not indicate effects in reproductive organs, and there is a gap in the basic data requirement for developmental effects. However, it was presumed that because of the rapid degradation of the substance on absorption and due to local effects, studies would be unlikely to reveal any specific developmental effects.


Environment
Hydrogen peroxide is a naturally occurring substance (typical background concentrations < 1 - 30 μg/l).
[NOTE : equivalent to about 1.5 drop of 35% H2O2 per litre of water]

Almost all cells with the exception of anaerobic bacteria produce it in their metabolism. H2O2 is rapidly degraded in the environment (biotic and abiotic). Its half-life times are estimated to be < 1-5 days in surface water and sediment, one day in air and from minutes to a few hours in soil. Hydrogen peroxide does not bioaccumulate (log Kow < -1).

Hydrogen peroxide adsorbs poorly to sediment particles and is rapidly degraded, thus accumulation in the sediment is also not expected.
Despite the H2O2 decomposing mechanisms in all aerobic cells, hydrogen peroxide is toxic to aquatic organisms, Exposure of aquatic environment may have harmful effects on biota. Algae are the most sensitive organisms (EC50 = 1.6-5 mg/l, NOEC = 0.1 mg/l). Acute toxicity to invertebrates varies from 2 to 17.7 mg/l, and to fish from 16.4 to 37.4 mg/l. Chronic toxicity to invertebrates is studied on zebra mussels (NOEC was 2 mg/l). No data for long term tests on fish is available.
PNEC to aquatic organisms according to the EU Technical Guidance Document would be 2 μg /l using the algal NOEC of 0.1 mg /l and an assessment factor of 50. Hydrogen peroxide is a naturally occurring substance (typical background concentrations <1 – 30 μg /l), Concentrations close to 30 μg /l are rare – occurring during summer afternoons in surface waters with high DOC level. On the basis of a field study, it is evident that even natural levels of H2O2 may be harmful to some organisms causing “natural risks“. Calculated PNEC of 2 μg /l seems to over estimate the toxicity and therefore PNEC = 10 μg /l is recommended.

Exposure
The estimated use of hydrogen peroxide was 670 000 t/a for 1995 in the EU. This chemical is used for bleaching of pulp and textiles, chemicals manufacture, environmental applications and various other purposes including consumer products.
Hydrogen peroxide is used in large volumes for the production of other chemicals, for bleaching of pulp, paper and textiles, for disinfection in the food processing industry, for etching in the electronics industry, for cleaning of metal plates and for water treatment and other environmental applications. Significant exposures to the vapours of hydrogen peroxide at or above occupational exposure limit levels may occur in the loading of tankers, in some applications of disinfection and in etching of circuit boards. In small-scale open uses involving manual handling, splashes of the more concentrated substance to the skin were noted to cause white spots.
Concerning consumer products, available household bleaches may contain up to 20 % hydrogen peroxide causing an obvious hazard of injury in case of a splash to the eye.
Consumers may be exposed to hydrogen peroxide during bleaching and dyeing of the hair, and through the use of tooth bleaches or mouth washes. Presently, some applications and products may contain high enough concentrations of hydrogen peroxide to cause symptoms of irritation. Contact lenses contain low residues of hydrogen peroxide when the substance is used for disinfection.


NATURE OF FURTHER WORK RECOMMENDED
Site specific data on the production plants in Europe and PECs calculated using generic scenarios according to EU Technical Guidance Document indicates possible local risks to aquatic environment, especially if no biological waste water treatment system exists. Exposure data from industry will clarify this issue.
The hazards of repeated inhalation exposures to hydrogen peroxide are poorly defined, and they should be further explored (as a possible post SIDS activity) to enable the assessment of risks to workers. An experimental study performed with an appropriate animal model may be needed to resolve the problem.
In the context of the EU Existing Substances Regulation 793/93 a detailed risk assessment is being carried out.

OECD Member countries outside of the EU are invited to note this information and investigate the necessity for risk assessment in their own countries.

Balancing Your body's pH using Sodium Bicarbonate


Your body's pH levels can be corrected by oral consumption of Sodium Bicarbonate.

1. What is Sodium Bicarbonate: 
Sodium Bicarbonate is what we commonly know as baking soda.
The use of Sodium Bicarbonate is extensive and it is considered to be a natural substance that is already present in our diets, and that has been used for medical purposes for the last 200 years.

Back in the 1920's doctors used to prescribe Sodium Bicarbonate for a variety of ailments including the common cold and other infections.

The most common dosage was to have 1 teaspoon of SB in a glass of water every 3 hours.

In a nutshell, Sodium Bicarbonate:

  • is a naturally occuring substance
  • is used in medicine for the last 200 years

2. Using Sodium Bicarbonate to raise the body's pH levels, prevent or help cure ailments:

Over 150 years ago Dr. Austin Church formed a business to produce and distribute Baking Soda. 
ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda is derived from a natural occurring mineral called trona. It is 100% pure, safe, and natural. Baking Soda (also known as sodium bicarbonate) is a substance that is found naturally in all living things. 
Its purpose is to maintain pH balance in the bloodstream, which is necessary to sustain life.
Due to its chemical and physical properties, sodium bicarbonate has unique medicinal capabilities that every healthcare practitioner, doctor and patient needs to know about.
The only problem is that Arm & Hammer Baking Soda can replace many more expensive medicines and this does not make the medical industrial complex happy.
In today’s modern world of medicine the FDA just will not let companies that sell products make medical claims about them unless they have been tested at great expense and approved as a drug. 
But this was not always the case and as we can see in the information in this chapter, which is from a 1924 booklet, published by the Arm & Hammer Soda Company. On page 12 the company starts off saying, “The proven value of Arm & Hammer Bicarbonate of Soda as a therapeutic agent is further evinced by the following evidence of a prominent physician named Dr. Volney S. Cheney, in a letter to the Church & Dwight Company:
“In 1918 and 1919 while fighting the ‘Flu’ with the U. S. Public Health Service it was brought to my attention that rarely any one who had been thoroughly alkalinized with bicarbonate of soda contracted the disease, and those who did contract it, if alkalinized early, would invariably have mild attacks. I have since that time treated all cases of ‘Cold,’ Influenza and LaGripe by first giving generous doses of Bicarbonate of Soda, and in many, many instances within 36 hours the symptoms would have entirely abated. Further, within my own household, before Woman’s Clubs and Parent-Teachers’ Associations, I have advocated the use of Bicarbonate of Soda as a preventive for “Colds,” with the result that now many reports are coming in stating that those who took “Soda” were not affected, while nearly every one around them had the “Flu.”
Recommended dosages from the Arm and Hammer Company for colds and influenza back in 1925 were:
  • During the first day take six doses of half teaspoonful of Arm & Hammer Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water, at about two hour intervals.
  • During the second day take four doses of half teaspoonful of Arm and Hammer Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water, at the same intervals.
  • During the third day take two doses of half teaspoonful of Arm and Hammer Bicarbonate of Soda in glass of cool water morning and evening, and thereafter half teaspoonful in glass of cool water each morning until cold is cured.

3. Where can you buy Sodium Bicarbonate:
You should buy FOOD Grade or PURE Sodium Bicarbonate, since the supermarket type of Banking soda, has additives (like gluten and aluminum) that should not be consumed in high dosages.
So, just search for "food grade Sodium Bicarbonate" on amazon or ebay.
Arm & Hammer maintains that their product is pure food grade Sodium Bicarbonate.
In any case, i would definitely prefer to buy something branded over something that is unbranded.

4. Measuring your results & what to aim for:

Use a pH testing strip to measure your body pH balance. 
Instructions: 
a) Test 60 minutes before eating a meal and 2 hours after eating.
b) To work the test, you should apply some urine or saliva directly on the colored patches on the papers edge.( Try not to touch the colored patches on the paper with your fingers).
c) After applying saliva or urine, the tests usually show the final result after 15" seconds.
d) To get the result you just have to compare the color of the two patches with the color table on the pack.

3. Evaluating Urine pH test results:


Testing the pH of your urine will show how well your body is able to remove acids and maintain optimal amounts of minerals that protect the body from becoming too acidic. The "buffer minerals" include sodium, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. If you are acidic, then your body is not doing a good job at using the minerals to protect against the acid, because there is too much acid in your body. 
For a healthy range, your urine pH should be between 6.0 and 6.5 when you test in the morning, and between 6.5 and 7.0 when you test in the evening.

4. Evaluating Saliva pH test results:

Testing the pH of your saliva will help show digestive enzyme activity in the body. 
For a healthy range, your saliva pH should remain between 6.5 and 7.5 all day.
